Location
This foto was taken at the LADWP IN Downtown LA near the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion.?I had never seen this building and area at night. It was very inspirational.Time
This was taken around 10pm if memory servers me.Lighting
The light was what the lightning was. The job if this foto was to keep moving until I found the spot where the light fell the way I wanted it to.Equipment
Nikon d610, Benro Tripod, Nikkor 28-300mm.Inspiration
I love taking photos at night. It is always something you wouldn’t expect. It makes me feel like a vigilante artist.Editing
I did do some post on this. There was some “stuff” in the background that needed taming. I did use cropping, saturation and curves. I try to create my own filters, I should start adding it all to the memory of the filters I use….In my camera bag
I normally have my Nikon d850, Nikkor 28-300, Nikon 105mm macro, Passport ColorChecker and a Nikon MC-36a trigger.Feedback
My advice is always the same. Just shoot, shoot, and shoot. Keep you eyes open to how light effects your subject and again just shoot. It costs nothing and it is simply fun.
