USA, California- Fall in Southern California is different from most states in the USA . Beautiful beaches enriched by warm breezes from the deserts. Other days in October the mornings are shrouded with fog from the ocean that is perfect on spooky Halloween nights. Changing leaf color is best viewed in the mountains because the climate is more extreme. Being near to the ocean I look to the fruit on the trees when it comes to fall color. The apple trees that show off fruit with a treat before the climate gets colored in Winter.
