Fine Art Nature Macro Photography. An intimate portrait of the Autumn landscape in the tiny world of spiders. Taken on a foggy late September morning just as the golden hour was on the wane allowing a subtle Autumnal glow of sunlight to breakthrough to my meadow garden which was strewn with a shimmering city of dew dusted cobwebs. The image is as it came but I had been taking the time to discover exactly when the light would be perfect to produce warm colours and subtle beauty if I got the chance to photograph a cobweb in my garden in the right weather conditions. Sunlight in the morning burning through a thick layer of fog seemed to be right for a shallow depth macro composition that encapsulates the essence of Autumn without using the more often used motifs of an Autumn Day.
