Beautiful dragonfly resting on a twig whilst walking across scrub land in Southern Spain. It was a small dragonfly, no bigger than 2 inches in length and about the same from wing tip to wing tip. His eyes glowed in the light of the sun and he stood out like a little beacon in the dry, desert surrounding.
