Sports Action Photography on the water. Taken at Holyhead Marina, on the Isle of anglesey, North Wales during training heats before the evenings races. using continuous shooting and as much zoom as the lens I had with me would allow this action shot caught the near miss between two of the boats from two separate races as they both played a game of chicken on the turn, neither one wishing to give up their position and their placing in the separate events. The image needed a good deal of cropping because of the limits of the equipment i had on hand when I shot it but I tried to crop the original using balanced compositioning rules to get the best possible view and angle on the featured action.
