Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in my home garden.

Time

At around 3PM when I went in search of macro subjects to photograph I found this unique looking creature.

Lighting

I just made use of an external flash to light the subjects.

Equipment

Canon EOS 80D along with Laowa 100mm f2.8 macro lens and a twin flash was used.

Inspiration

It was the first time I encountered the subject you see in the photo and later on with a bit of research I came to know that it was a ladybird larva.

Editing

I just did some sharpening, colour enhancement, noise reduction and finally cropped it.

In my camera bag

A Canon EOS 80D, Laowa 100mm f2.8 macro lens and a twin flash is all what i take to photograph.

Feedback

A small garden holds a lot of surprises for a macro photographer.
