Sun Lakes State Park, Washington

It was partly cloudy and so the early morning light was diffused

Nikon D850 Nikon 500mm pf lens @ f/5.6 1/800 second @ ISO 3200

Inspiration

The area away from the lakes is exceptionally dry and most of the grass is straw colored. These Thistles just jumped out from their surroundings begging to be photographed

No post processing

I always carry at least 2 bodies D850 and D500, and 5 lenses 14-24 f/2.8 60mm f/2.8 macro 70-200 f/2.8 85mm f/1.4 500mm pf
