This image was shot not far from my home. I fly my drone from my back deck a lot, and this bridge is something that i always try to get shots of. The bridge in this particular photo crosses over lake Taneycomo. There are lots of boats always on the water, and of course I love to photograph them.Time
This image was shot later in the day, around 5:30 pm. When I'm shooting drone photography I like to fly later in the day. If it's too early, I end up with a everything being way too bright. I have filters, but I definitely don't like using them, unless there's just no way around it.Lighting
When shooting photography with a drone, especially if the subject is moving. Like a boat in this case. It's really best to use a fast shutter speed, if not, you end up with motion blur. So I definitely wait until I have a lot of sunlight to shoot drone photos.Equipment

I was really just flying my drone around, checking out the area around my house, from the sky. And I just happened to be above the bridge when the boat came by. It was really luck more than anything.Editing
The only post-processing I did in this image was some small color adjustments to bring out the natural green color of the water. I sharpened up the wake behind the boat a little. Cleaned up any unwanted trash or anything else in the water. But typically I don't do much post-processing, I like my images as natural as I can get them.In my camera bag
I don't really carry a bag per say any more. About a year ago I finally upgraded to a Canon Full Frame Mirrorless camera, I sold my Canon 7d and all my lenses. So now, I only have my Canon EOS RP, a Canon RF 24-105 f/4L IS USM. Along with a few filters, extra batteries and Manfrotto tripod. Other than that, I usually have my DJI Mavic Air 2, with extra batteries, filters and SD cards with me at all times.Feedback
My answer to this question pretty much always stays the same. Get out and shoot tons and tons of photos of your preferred genre, and even more of the things you don't really like to shoot, it will only make you a better and more rounded photographer. My biggest tip if you want to get into drone photography is to make sure you follow the laws and regulations of your particular country and get the proper licensing. It's just my opinion, but drones these days aren't just "toys" any more, they are capable of extreme distances, as well as really high altitudes and can be really dangerous.
