This one was almost too close for my big zoom lens. Luckily, I was able to get a decent shot. These colorful and noisy birds are a species of flycatcher. They are known to eat a variety of other foods, such as berries and I have read reports of them catching small fish from the water. Bright yellow breast and belly, brown upper parts with dark "bandit" mask and white face markings.
They say their name in a high pitched "kis-ka-dee" along with a variety of calls.

Montell, Uvalde County, Texas in January 2021
