Storytelling Abstract Macro Food and Nature Composition Photography. A close up of the caring and beautiful gift that I found on my back garden wall from the farmer in the field beyond at the beginning of spring during the Coronavirus Pandemic that meant I was in Housebound Isolation for more than a year. The end of my garden was my boundary and one morning as i did my usual walk to the wall with my coffee cup I found this little basket of eggs with a couple of buttercups . No note, no explanation , just an act of kindness from a little known friend : Spring treasure , the first lay of the year. I grabbed my camera to capture the occasion taking it in the dawn light using shallow depth and macro settings before grabbing the goods and having them for my breakfast . I put the basket back on the wall the next morning filled with some muffins I had made using one of the eggs. these little transactions have continued off and on for the last couple of months , with never a word spoken.
