Macro Abstract Floral art photography . A portrait of my favourite flower, the beautiful and sweetly scented Lilac. this particular example was taken in natural light late in the afternoon using Macro settings and taken from a low POV with Shallow Depth. the timing was crucial to be able to get the gentle pastels in the tiny flowers and a real cottage garden feeling because of the subtle contrast of light and shadow.
