Bamboo Iris at the Lan Su Chinese Garden in Downtown Portland, Oregon. The Lan Su Chinese Garden in Downtown Portland is a quiet and contemplative place right in the middle of one of the least desirable areas of NW Portland. Once you are inside you have stepped into a completely new world of beauty and serenity, completely forgetting about the insanity outside. They have many beautiful flowering plants in the Spring and Summer, but it is still a beautiful place when the flowers are not blooming so much. This photo was taken on Thursday, April 29th of 2021.
