Macro Abstract Nature Photography taken at Dawn on a crisp and frost glinted winter morning. Taken as part of a personal project called , " Over the Garden Wall ", featuring photographs of the interesting and unusual things I see leaning on or over the walls and hedges I pass on daily walks around my village of Llanfachraeth on the Isle of Anglesey, off the North Wales Mainland , in the UK. A gentle portrait of the landscape , nature and the Season of Winter made possible by the natural light of the golden hour of the golden hour at sunrise. Taken with the light behind the subject , each speck of frost producing a magical glint mingling with the hazy morning light. The image was taken from an angled , low POV , using Macro and Shallow depth settings to enhance the effect of the light on the subject and create a contrast in tonal palette that highlights the thorny texture of the hedgerow without losing the softness and beauty that can be seen in them.An abstract portrait of Land and Nature , it is also symbolic , representing the Human Spirit , and the revelation that although all things put up their barriers and defences , given the right encouragement they will show the World their Beauty and their Softer Side.
