Abstract Nature and Object Photography. Symmetry in Motion is an Abstract Art Portrait of Water and a Bridge. Taken from a unique perspective , this ornamental bridge over a small ornamental water feature gave a peaceful but absorbing view of the movement of water as seen from the play of light created by ripples on the water upon the shadow on the underside of the bridge . The ripples were created by an occasional drop of water that trickled off the stone above aa sight that can only be seen during a few hours each day when the sun is at the right angle , ahead of the subject in the late afternoon. To achieve the symmetry and capture the greatest contrast in light and shadow it was taken from a very low and sharply angled POV , macro settings and a macro adaption lens were also used to maintain the sharpness of the features being displayed using natural light manipulation , this was also taken by continuous shooting on a sport function setting. Taken at the beautiful location of Bodnant Gardens , Conwy , North Wales in the UK as part of an ongoing project of photography called , " The Ripple Effect' featuring Abstract and Conceptual Art Photography exploring the themes of Cause and Effect on the Individual , on Nature and Society as a whole and the Fragile Nature of Order and the Status Quo.
