Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in eastern Oregon at sunrise. We were traveling to Arizona and there was a low fog which made the picture perfect

Time

This was right at sunrise. We couldn’t stop on the side of the road so I took this going 50 mph on highway 58. I was amazed it actually came out

Lighting

The only light was the natural light from the sun. But the fog did a nice job of toning the sunlight down a bit

Equipment

This was taken with Canon EOS Rebel T7. The lens was 75-300 on sports mode. It was one of a line of 10 photos.

Inspiration

The beauty of this scene was just breathtaking I couldn’t pass it up. I love sunrise photos

Editing

I did tone down the sun somewhat because it was to bright.

In my camera bag

Canon EOS Rebel T7, Canon EOS Rebel T3, 55 lens, 75-300 lens, tripod, filters, cleaning cloths, pen and paper for notes, extra batteries

Feedback

Like I said this photo was taken going highway speed with nowhere to pull over. There wasn’t time to set anything. I do think the sunlight provides such great opportunities for a great outcome. I would say to pay attention to where your light is and use it to illuminate your photo
