Location
It was taken in Portland OR. It is the bridge between the VA Hospital and the OHSU hospital. My husband is a disabled vet and had triple bypass. I went for a walk and found this beautiful bridgeTime
This was taken around 11:30am and it was partially cloudy out. We walked across to a cafeteria for lunchLighting
I didn’t use any special lighting, just what was present at the timeEquipment

I love what I call scoping down photos. When I saw this bridge I thought it would perfect for that kind of photo. It looks like it never ends and provides an adventure to see where it goesEditing
I did not use any post processing. Thought it looked just fine the way it came out. I did do this photo in black and white to see what that would look like. I think they both give the desired affectIn my camera bag
I carry my Canon camera, regular lens, telephoto lens, cleaning cloth, an instant camera, tripod, extra charged batteries, instruction manual for my camera (because I’m still trying to learn how to use it)Feedback
For this type of photo, I practiced on train tracks to get the right angle.
