A fine beach landscape. It reminds me of Morro Rock in Morro Bay, Ca.

Behind The Lens
Location
It was taken in Canon Beach Oregon. The rock is called Haystack Rock. This rock is special to me, my sister`s ashes were spread around it. Canon Beach was one of her favorite locations. Also, the rock is host to many different nesting birds..Time
It was taken as sundown was just beginning. we get all colors of the spectrum on our coast at sundown.Lighting
I used the natural light. The way the light was that evening, was perfect for a silhouette of the rocksEquipment
I took this with my phone, although I prefer to use my Cannon EOS T3 Rebel.Inspiration
My 2 sisters and I love Canon Beach and have spent considerable time there. My sister Marsha had liver duct cancer and passed away. Her ashes are spread around Haystack Rock. It holds a very special place in my heartEditing
I did enhance the color some, but other than that nothing was doneIn my camera bag
I have a Canon EOS T3 Rebel camera which I really love. I carry a short lens and a telephoto lens and well as a smaller backup camera. I carry a tripod, but so many shots don`t allow time for setup. Other things include, extra battery, cleaning objects, paper and pen. And someone might find a snack or two in there.Feedback
The weather can change rapidly on our coast, so take advantage when you can. Have patience and wait for the shot you want. I also took a whole line of photos that evening and selected the best one
