The beginning of Spring around the Portland, Oregon area is the time for the abundance of Rhododendron blossoms. Everywhere you turn you can find huge Rhododendron bushes covered in beautiful brightly colored blossoms. This one was found in the parking lot of the Chrystal Springs Rhododendron Garden, since the garden itself was closed due to the lockdown, and although it was a very colorful blossom, I felt converting it to Black & White drew out the details of the flower and separated the various parts. What do you think? The photo was taken on Saturday the 25th of April in 2020, during the early stages of the COVID lockdown.
