Just before the Sandy River dumps into the Columbia River it passes under the beginning of the Old Columbia River Highway at Troutdale, Oregon. Here is that bridge and the Sandy River with an icing of snow. They forecasted a blizzard for the Columbia River Gorge yesterday (Friday, February 12th, 2021), so of course I had to drive out there to check it out. This was my first stop on my way out. Once I actually got further out in the Gorge I found plenty of snow, a whole lot of wind, and got stuck once, but did happen to also find some nice photos as well.
