Minimalist Abstract Beach Art Photography. Macro image of the memory of the waves and sealife that visit upon the beach at Newborough on the Isle of Anglesey off the North Wales Mainland in the UK. Taken as part of an ongoing project called , " The Ripple Effect' ", featuring abstract and conceptual images that represent the ripple effect of thought , human and environmental activity on the individual , on Nature , and on society as a whole. Taken during winter to take advantage of the natural light conditions to enhance the colour and contrast of the surface of the beach and using the ripples in the sand as leading lines to bring the eyes focus to the abandoned mussel shell in the foreground. All of the elements of the image were composed to create a feeling of action in contrast with stillness , to produce the feeling of animation in the inanimate. Abstract Nature Photography.
