This photo was taken in the 5th Arrondissement in Paris.Time
The day was overcast and humid. A friend and I stopped for a cool drink at a corner cafe. As usual, I thoroughly enjoy sitting at a cafe and people watch. It was around noon and I noticed this gentleman working on his bike and cart. I snapped a few shots while sitting at the cafe and said this was to cool to let go without a closeup. So I approached the gentleman as the small group were leaving and I asked if he would mind sitting for a photo. He agreed and as the say in French "voilà".Lighting
Because of the overcast from cloud cover, colors are more pronounced so I shot the photo with natural light.Equipment

I believe it was the eccentricity of the gentleman. The way he methodically moved around his bike checking everything down to the finest little detail.Editing
