Taken Christmas night 2020 in my yard using zoom. No tripod.
This was my first ever attempt to use zoom for moon shot. Stood in my front yard and leaned on something to steady. The focus for zoom in the Canon powershot is pretty shaky the further you zoom so had to patiently wait to get the shot without a tripod. Bit challenging, yet think it happened.

Thank you! Was taken with my first point and shoot had good zoom but real shaky. The zoom is powerful for a point and shoot but it shakes when zoomed the most. So just had to wait it out..

Very well done. I have been trying for years to get a good shot of the moon. Even with a 300 mm lens I have come up short.
