Wildlife Action Portrait Photography in Colour. ' The Pioneer ' , got it's name from the colour reflected in the water and on the reeds during the golden hour of dawn and the searching action of the serene Little Egret hunting for "gold" within those shimmering waters which reminded me of the actions of those that mined the earth in the Gold Rush. Taken during the change of seasons between Autumn and Winter on a cold December Day at Sunrise on the banks of the reed lined tributary lake that feeds into the tidal river estuary called , ' The Inland Sea ', at the basin of my home village of Llanfachraeth on the Isle of Anglesey off the North Wales Mainland in the UK.
