Behind The Lens

Location

North Iceland, near Lake Myvatn. Looks close to the fissure loft to the road, this is actually where the continental plates are drifting apart.On the right side is the Eurasian plate, and the North American plate on the right side

Time

Around lunchtime. The sun hardly comes up that time of the year in December.

Lighting

When the weather forecast says high pressure system in the wintertime, then It's good to go early out and be ready for the twilight time when the sun just so reaches above the horizon before it goes down again.

Equipment

DJI Mavic 2 Pro and warm clothes.

Inspiration

North Iceland is full of gems everywhere you look.

Editing

Some but just minor post processing in Photoshop.

In my camera bag

I depends, sometimes Nikon DSLR, some lenses, tripod, ND filters, remote. Since I got the drone I use it more than my DSLR
