This photo was taken at a river park along the Susquehanna river in Columbia, Pennsylvania after a snow storm.Time
This is one of my favs. It was going on about 12:30 P.M. My wife and I drove to the park to see how the river was affected by the snow fall and cold weather we just had. I loved the way it looked and took the camera out to capture the scene.Lighting
The lighting was all natural for this season and worked perfectly for me.Equipment
I used my Nikon Coolpix B500 which I hand held.Inspiration
This is a favorite location of mine and I try to catch the moods of the different seasons.Editing
I did a lot of post processing in order to make it look more like a painting. I still have a lot to learn as far as editing goes but I am enjoying the adventure.In my camera bag
I just purchased a new Canon EOS Rebel T7and now carry it and three different lenses in my pack. I have a lot to learn with this new equipment. My previous cameras were all point and shoot so getting used to all that goes with a dslr camera is both exciting and somewhat intimidating. :) I also have a tripod, extra batteries, and filters etc.Feedback
Look for what inspires you and take your time when setting up the shot. I am not a very technical person so I could not tell you what settings and other things to go through just yet but I hope to learn more as I go. Just like life itself, it is a journey to be enjoyed.
