Taken on the Mogollon Rim in Arizona. Pronounced (mug- ee-on). The rim is located about halfway between Phoenix and Flagstaff, and runs for about 200 miles in length. The area we camped at was a remote campground, about 25 miles from Payson, Arizona. When the sun goes down at 8000 feet, in October, it gets dark very fast.

I tried to create an image just like this a little while back but couldn't find the right settings. Care to share your secrets?

Hi Helen... I would love to, but that was 30+ years ago with a film camera. I think I just put the lens wide open, and used a piece of dark paper in front of the lens, and left the lens open for 40 seconds or more. I had a very good lens on that camera, it was F1.2mm Canon lens and camera... My Best.. Mike
