This image is dedicated to my Australian Flickr friend John Lankester, who lives and works in the Emirates now. When he was on Christmas vacation in Germany 2019, we seized the opportunity to meet up in Cologne. We had a great evening walking around on the search for a nice location to shoot the blue hour and finally settled on this view. You can find his version of this evening here:

It was a pleasure to meet John in person - he is not only an incredibly fast learning photographer, but also a very nice and open-minded guy. I really hope to see him again someday …
This is the last image I took in 2019 - a year which I heavily used for traveling and photographing. 2020 was very different for obvious reasons, but I was trying to get the best out of it.
