I still have two pictures from Tenerife to share, taken at the last evening of our family vacation.
After some rather unsuccessful scouting for a milkyway shot in the Teide national parc i had plenty of time until it would get dark enough for astrophotography.
I came across this beautiful scenery and was exited when i realized that the last light of the setting sun would fall directly on the ”Hermitage of our Lady of the snows“ (Ermita de Nuestra Señora de las Nieves).
Afterwards i tried to capture the milkyway, but the conditions were far from being optimal...

Ah. Yes. I love the light like a spotlight on the little church set in all that dark surroundings. And with the road and mountains it really gives scale. Very impressive. ;-)
