The timing on this first cold front seemed perfect, since it was supposed to move through right after sunrise. I was hoping to catch a good roll cloud out in front as the sun was rising, so I made sure to get out to Lake Belton, where there is a good view to the northwest before sunrise. As it got light enough to see, I could tell that there were heavy clouds out ahead of the front. While it isn’t as dramatic as an orange roll cloud, I was able to capture some interesting clouds. The wind was blowing around 30 mph, so I had to use a fast shutter speed and a higher ISO setting,
