Located on IH-35, where the highway crosses the Leon River, Bend O' the River Ranch was donated to the City of Temple and is used for many different types of activities. I drive by this place every morning, on my way to work and as the sun rises, the light filtering through the trees is beautiful. I grabbed my camera one morning and left for work early to try and get a photo of the sunlight effects, but there was a blanket of fog in the river bottom. This worked too!
