On my first hiking trip to Chalk Ridge Falls Park, just below the dam at Stillhouse Hollow Reservoir in Belton, Texas, I came upon this waterfall. It is called Chalk Ridge Falls, as the park's name suggests and it is a very popular spot for photo shoots. I set up my photo gear on the banks of the creek and watched and waited for a clear shot, without people in it. There was a young photographer doing a maternity shoot in the middle of the pool below the falls, so of course I did a few practice shots with them in it! I finally tracked down the photographer on Instagram and sent her the photos that I took of them, so she could get them to her client.
