One of my favorite spots to photograph, this small pond is within a couple of miles of my house, so it is quick and easy to get to. For a small pond on a rural road, this is a bird magnet! I have seen all kinds of birds out at this spot, even the occasional Bald Eagle.

This Blue Heron posed nicely for me. It flew from another perch, in the middle of the pond and settled on this branch, where I could get some nice reflection!
