Location
Michigan's fall provides an amazing backdrop and we're blessed to own a decent plot. We've selectively cleared paths and cul-de-sacs into it to make a picturesque location with many backdrops. We had the delight of taking this within a mile of our backdoor.Time

Michigan occasionally just gets a perfect fall day. We were blessed with great lighting and moderate temperatures that day.Equipment

Antique mirrors are a low key passion and once I saw how adorable my subject was the idea just popped into my head. I'd utilized mirrors at a studio job in the past and once she saw her face it was golden hour. She lit right up with glee.Editing
I cropped and added a vignette and made a few lighting/color adjustments. We wanted golden hour but a clients schedule is what it is so we made it happen for her.In my camera bag
We carry Canon Rebel tT6s 18-55mm lenses, a few filters, a marco adjuster, and a telephoto lens on occasion. I also like to carry a secondary light in case it's needed.Feedback
Babies love babies. Babies love music. Getting a baby laughing and playing with their own reflection always makes great shots but don't forget glass wipes or you can wind up with a drooled over mirror.
