During the day, lighting was 3 Godox 400 wt strobes with soft boxes.Lighting
Using the strobe lighting is perfect for freezing the action. The trick is to be sure the camera isn't picking up any exposure from the natural light which isn't hard when shooting at 1/200 sec at f/8 and 50 ISO. Even though 1/200 isn't a fast shutter speed the only exposure is from when the strobes fire which they do at 1/5000 sec. So the image is tack sharp, no movement blur, and no need to shoot high speed sync.Equipment
I used my much loved Canon 5DSr with Canon 50mm 2.1 prime lens. Hand held, 1/200 f/8, 50 ISOInspiration
It was a lifestyle shoot for the model, her boxing and working out in the gym. I love shooting movement and action so did a set like this.Editing
Edited in LR and PS, I used a blu filter and further adjusted from there to taste. In my camera bag
Two bodies, Canon 5DSr and 5DMIV, 24, 50, and 80mm primes, flash, plenty of batteries and memory cards. And ND filters, cleaning brushes and lens tissues.Feedback
Be sure to use back button focus and pre focus before the shot. A fairly good DOF aperture to get the subjects sharp. Don't try to get the subjects in too tight in the frame if they're jumping around, crop in later in post.
