Hi the Challenge program hasn't let me vote yet (as the Challenge creator) but I gave chosen your photo for it's excellence.
First of all the image has ambience in both your choice of a totally comfy dog, and because of the reduced aperture.
I love the focus on the photographers crystal ball, this lends significance beyond the obvious.
The choice was hard, there are others that appealed more than this one, to me emotionally.
Yet more were significant, but the viewer would have to be knowledgeable of religions.
So yours is visually excellent and would appeal to most photographers very easily.

Merci M'Lady. Hollie comes in a keeps me company when I edit and 'play pictures'. This location became so regular that I added a soft cushion for this old and wise friend to rest upon. A dapple of light to keep her warm in my darkened room lite only by the screen. One afternoon, at what seems was the exact right time, I swiveled around to see the paperweight catching just the right glow as an accent to the soft light caressing the softness that IS Hollie. My camera sits under the monitor so reaching around, as silently as possible, I returned to the angelic scene. Together we made this. Safe and warm and at ease with long a time friend watching over each other. Again, thanks for the honor. Rick & Hollie
