Behind The Lens
Location
I took this photo in Brooklyn Bridge Park overlooking the East RiverTime
This was taken sometime between 11am and 1pm when the lighting was just right.Lighting
This was all done with natural light taken when the sun was just behind me and shining on the skyline.Equipment
I used a Sony mirrorless camera with a 35-200 mm zoom lens and no filter.Inspiration
The wooden poles were all line up perfectly and if your eye follows the poles your eye goes straight to the skyline.Editing
Just some enhancing to bring out the contrastIn my camera bag
I am a minimalist. I only carry a camera with a zoom lens. My thoughts are if the image is there and you have the ability to see the image one does not need all sorts of fancy and expensive gadgets to capture said image.Feedback
Just look all around you. Go to places you know and are comfortable to you. You will be surprised that each time you go there you will see something you never saw before.
