Behind The Lens
Location
I took this picture by a highway that runs along the Hudson River in Brooklyn New York.Time
This photograph was taken roughly between 8-8:30 pm on a clear summers evening.Lighting
I waited for the sun to set and I took several pictures as the sun was going down, this was the best one.Equipment
I used a Sony A6000 mirrorless with a UV filter. This was hand held.Inspiration
The beauty of the sunset going behind the bridge on this crisp clear night needed no other inspiration.Editing
I did some minimal post processing just to enhance the colors a bit.In my camera bag
I normally carry one digital camera with at 18-200 mm lens and it has a UV filter attached.Feedback
Patience. As I said above I saw the setting setting behind the bridge and I took several pictures standing at the exact spot taking the same scene and I picked out the best one. Just go to your go to place to take pictures at various times and you will see things you never saw before.
