I took this picture at sunset in Lancaster Pennsylvania.Time
This was sunset during the summer so I would say about 8pmThis wLighting
I saw the sun setting over this farmhouse turning the sky red so I snapped a few pictures at various angles and I liked this one the best.Equipment
I used a Nikon camera with a 24-135mm zoom lens hand held.Inspiration
I was driving along the country roads of Lancaster Pa. as the sun was setting. I saw the sun peeking from behind the clouds and I noticed the sky turning red. I pulled over to the side and I had to capture nature at its finest hour.Editing
I only did some minor post processing to punch up the color because the camera never really captures the depth or the richness of the colors. In my camera bag
I normally carry a Sony mirrorless camera with an 18-200 zoom lens with a UV filter and I carry a polarizing filter to cut the glare when needed.Feedback
Lancaster Pennsylvania is in the heart of Amish Country, The area consists mainly of farms with plenty of cattle. The farms are spread apart from each other along solitary country roads so this area is rich in photo opportunities.
