"THE MAGNIFICENCE OF THE APUANES"
I like landscape photography but ... it's not one of my favorites.
However, how can you be in this paradise and not take a panorama photo even though it is a foggy and covered day? IMPOSSIBLE!
Here the finest marble in the world is extracted and in the last photo (taken from far away) you can see the face of David painted over 12 meters! RIGHT FROM HERE came the PURE WHITE marble which later became the "Davide Di Michelangelo".
A marble that starts at a cost of at least 800 euros per cubic meter. So, when you find a truck with blocks of very white marble ... do the math: 1 meterx1x1 are MINIMUM 800 euros but it can also reach 3000. And we're talking about material to be worked!
