Because of the pandemic, I have been photographing landscapes close to home. This vista of the heart of our galaxy is from one end of the valley in which I live in central Pennsylvania. Because of the high contrast in this scene, this image is a blend of three different exposures (one for the sky and two for the foreground) taken over approximately 15 minutes.
