In August the Milky Way lines up with a highway nearby my home in central Pennsylvania. However, given the light pollution I have to wait for a clear, dry night without the moon to attempt this. This image is a blend of four images taken over 20 minutes. One exposure was for the sky using star tracking. Because vehicle traffic was sporadic, I used three images of the foreground to get light trails in most of the traffic lanes.
