Location
I took this at Fort Flaggler State park, near Port Townsend Washington. A former Army base, and a sister base to Fort Warden and Fort Casey. Both also state parks in Washington.Time
This was at sunset. Taken in early summer. At the beginning of June.Lighting
Magic hour is what they call this in photography and cinematography. It is hard to replicate this kind of lighting even with studios lights. It creates an great enviroment in nature to take great photos.Equipment
It was hand held and I used a Sony A7. The first generation Sony Fullframe mirrorless camera with a 28 mm OM lens dating back to the lat 70s.Inspiration
I love sunsets. As we do not get them as often up here in Western Washington. Unlike other places in the USA. Like Southern California. Thanks to our cloudy weather a good part of the year. So I can. I'll take sunset photos.Editing
I did. I stiched 4 photos together to make this photo. Than I did color, contrast and vibrance improvements in Photoshop. In my camera bag
My 28mm OM lens. The Sony A7, and extra camera batteries, with a USB charger.Feedback
