Location
I took this up on Hurricane Ridge up in the Olympic mountains near Port Angles Washington. It is part of the larger Olympic National park. This was on one of the trails up near the visitors center.Time
I took this in the afternoon.Lighting
The enviroment played well. That we had a lot of low laying clouds that day. Giving the photo a lot of depth that would not have been there.Equipment
I used a Son7 A7 with a Olympus OM 28mm 2.8f from 40 years ago. I took this photo handheld. It is a stitch of 4 photos.Inspiration
I loved the effect the low laying clouds where doing. Creating great effect of depth.Editing
Stitched from 4 photos and then color corrected in photoshop. In my camera bag
Right now just my Sony A7 and the OM 28mm 2.8 lens.Feedback
Train your eyes to see what it might look like when you color grading. Be aware of your weather and what it is doing. This kind of photo would not be possible in the middle of a clear summer day.
