This sunset picture was taken on a beautiful summer evening by the Wadden Sea in DenmarkTime
The picture is shot just before the sun releases the sky and night turns into nightLighting
It is important to wait until the sun is far enough down in the sky if you want to achieve the beautiful orange glow that golden hour givesEquipment
Canon EOS 6D, Canon 24-105 f4 L, tripod Sirui with a ball head.Inspiration
My inspiration almost always starts out in nature, and all its beauty. I walk around a lot by the Wadden Sea and through that, I experience many different beautiful motifs. And it motivates me to want to capture these through my lens and on my SD cardEditing
Since I take all my photos in RAW format, I always edit my photos. For this image, I have used Lightroom, where I edit colours, shadows, light, etc. and in Photoshop I have removed a few blades of grass which I think stood in the way of the actual experience in the imageIn my camera bag
Today I usually have the following in my photo bag: Canon R5, Canon RF 15-35mm f2.8 L, Canon RF 70-200mm f4 L, some filters, ND10 and ND6 and POL filters. And I also have a Sirui tripod.Feedback
I think it is important to always relate to the fact that the sun is a powerful light source, and therefore it can be difficult to get balance in light/dark. My recommendation would be to wait until the sun is far enough down in the sky, as then it will be easier to control the foreground, middle ground and background and create balance in its image.
