At the beach I had enough light so for this picture the I used natural light only.Equipment
For this shot I used my Nikon D810 in combination with the compact and nice Nikkor 85mm f1.8 D Lens.Inspiration
As usual in the family holidays the idea was to take some unforgetable family pictures.Editing
Always! Sometimes more and sometimes less! In this case I converted the color to black and white and made my post-processing, because the intimate moment is here the main thing and the focus should be on the message of the picure. My workflow: After selecting the photos to edit, I choose the color look for each set, then I correct, if necessary, the light of the picture. Then the picture is cropped if necessary and that's it.In my camera bag
I prefer to travel light. So I usually use MFT or APS-C at my travels. Buit for this vacancy I had my full format DSLR with a set of (relatively) fast primes with me: A 50mm, a 85mm, a 18-35mm wide Angle Zoom and for every situation the 28-300mm Travelzoom.Feedback
Be attentive and patient and watch the light during you make the photos. A camera with manual control (but don't forget: the best camera is the one you have with you) and then go for it. And yes, don't forget to do some the post-processing ;-)
