This reformed church, which is still used for weekly worship, is more than a thousand years old. After the Second World War it also became a place of pilgrimage for veterans, surviving relatives and other interested parties regarding the Battle of Arnhem.
The single-aisled rectangular tuff vessel was built in the Carolingian period (8th to 10th centuries) in pre-Romanesque style. Parts of the church from that time have been preserved in the current building. This makes it one of the oldest surviving churches in the Netherlands. Even the willow is over 150 years old.
