My dear sister in law was doing me the favor of being my chauffeur come tour guide through the farm land in her neck of the woods. With acres of pumpkins(orange), kale, lettuce and cabbage(shades of green) and the raw earth and sky as undertones flowing away up from the little valley a grand bucolic country vista was developing through my lens. With a thump, a yank on the zoom lens barrel and everything heading to the roof of the car--well you got the picture.

Location
The picture was taken from a moving car. The actual pictures of the farm garden fields we drove by are rather mater of fact compared to this.Time
It was getting on to seven pm. Everything set for a tour through farm land. Camera in hand, the window rolled down for clarity, and to not bump the zoom lens against. Aim, focus, zoom=kathump the shutter goes off, I leave the seat, settling back, I see looks of terror and apologie in my hostses face.Lighting
The ligthting was perfect. A thunder storm rolled through less than half an hour before I "" took the shot ""! The rain cleaned the air to perfection, leaving only the fall aroma of bucolic B.C.. The sun was low mid sky over my left shoulder. Perfect!Equipment
I was using my very versatile Lumix=FZ-70. Was supposed to be a simple hand held panorama of farmland at harvest time. Lets face it, a great accident.Inspiration
I was looking to record the fall harvest in a popular farm land setting.Editing
No, zero post processing. In my camera bag
This particular bag, for the FZ-70- as it is a fixed lens zoom-20 to 1200mm, has very few accessories. Though various filters, cleaning tools, pencil and paper keep this bag light.Feedback
Well because of the nature of the photo. I reccomend a spirited sense of ' joi d'vive '. One cannot expect to reproduce the results of unforseen actions and concequentses resulting in a surprise capture. Otherwise keep shooting and make notes of settings and the results for future referance-hence the pencil and paper!
