This river, The Elk River, flows through the City of Fernie, B.C. It is fed by natural sulphur springs which originate in the surrounding mountains. The mixture of warm water and cold air causes the mist to rise over the water. This day it was a brilliant minus 27°C. I used a Panasonic FZ 70, and the feed back information revealed f-5 for 1-80 th. sec.at iso 100 with 35 mm equivalent 110 mm. There is no manipulation in this photo.

If I do anything I might take this photo to Lightroom and try to adjust some of the blue out, but that also makes the effect of cold come through. I am a believer in taking the best picture you can in the first place.
