Location
The photo was taken in 2016 at Manyoni Private Game Reserve,Northern Zululand, South Africa. After a long trip with our rental car to the Leopard Mountain Safari Loge inside this game reserve, we (my wife and myself) where only about 500 meters away from the Lodge. And here this elephant bull came straight towards us. The small street did not allow to turn the car or to let him pass so near by, so i had to go backwards with the car about 700/800 meters until we reach a road junction - so he took one and we took the other direction :-) So we where very relieved!!! I am a self taught photographer, now since more than 40 years and it was the first time to shoot wildlife at this way.Time
It is really one of my favorite images, because we can hear our hearts still beating very loud when we look at this image :-) It was shot at November, 15th 2016, at 1 pm.Lighting
In this situation i only took my Sony DSC-RX10M3 with Tele 220mm (35mm=600mm) and shoot it through the front window of our car. ISO 200, F/5.6 and 1/60 sec.Equipment

We where so much excited and it was our first encounter so much close with an elephant - AND we where ALONE ! :-) No Ranger or other people beside us.Editing
With Lightroom i did a little more saturation, brightness and sharpness and increase the depth.In my camera bag
