Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my home town of Nambucca Heads. Although it was calm & peaceful watching the sunset. The bush fire was dangerously close to our beautiful little town, threatening property & lives in it's path.

Time

Afternoon sunset.

Lighting

What drew to this shot was the beautiful lighting in the sky & on the rocks with the drama of the bush fire in the back ground.

Equipment

Handheld , Olympus Pen-F , 9-18mm lens or the 12-40mm pro lens.

Inspiration

The drama of the bush fire & the beauty of the sunset.

Editing

Photo processed in Luminar4 .

In my camera bag

I have two bags , on this day my shoulder bag, with the Pen-F camera. I have the usual clothes , blower & spare batteries. I also carry the 45mm 1.8 lens & the awesome 75mm 1.8 lens.

Feedback

Just get out , if you think it may be a wonderful morning or evening . Get your gear & go for a walk. I get annoyed with myself if I stay home because I didn't think the there would be enough clouds or colour in the sky. Then you look out window to see that nature has turned it on & I'm not in a position to make the most of it.
